is quickly beginning to lose it's buzz

as the drama of life
i try to keep at a minimum...

the heart rate monitor
suffers few beats

the occasional hiccup
of situations
becomes the excitement of a day

it's somewhat like
the calm before the storm

with nothing rushing at work
no persistent schedules
no meetings
no special upcoming holidays
nothing to celebrate

it's like life in a straight line
